The Neighboring Food Co-op Association includes more than 35 food co-ops and start-up initiatives across New England and New York (Click here to view map). Together, our members co-ops are locally owned by more than 140,000 people like you, generate annual revenue of $315 million, sell more than $90 million annually from local producers, and employ over 2,300 people (2017).
Our New Hampshire members include 3 food co-ops and 1 start-up initiative, locally owned by more than 34,290 people, and operating 7 storefronts. Last year, more that 1,920 people joined food co-ops in Granite State, demonstrating community interest in healthy food, co-operative enterprise, and a more just and sustainable economy. Together, these co-ops employ more than 550 people and generate $94.7 million in revenue, selling over $19.7 million in local products and contributing $79,225 to community organizations and nonprofits (2017).
