A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT FRONT-END MANAGER

As an Assistant Front End Manager, you will work with the Front-End Manager to ensure the day-to-day departmental operations are effective and efficient. These responsibilities include but are not limited to ensuring excellent customer service, scheduling and staff coverage, accurate cash handling, training, continual and consistent interdepartmental communication.

If you enjoy the challenge of handling and prioritizing multiple demands, while remaining calm this job is for you! Effective communication skills will support your efforts to complete on the job training, meet customer needs, resolve conflict, and work cooperatively with other members of the GreenStar team.

Status: Level IV, Supervised by Front-End Manager

Hours: Full-Time, 40 Hours per Week,

Sunday-Thursday 1:30pm – 10:00pm

Wage: $17.60 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ASSISTANT FRONT-END MANAGER

  • Excellent customer service skills, to include the ability to project an outgoing, friendly personality.
  • Effective communication skills, to include but not limited to, good listener and ability to give clear instructions.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple demands and stay calm; high tolerance for stress.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience with cash registers, retail operating systems, and computer software a plus.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
